Females max out at about 65mm leg span making these one of Australia's smallest mature tarantula species.
Semi-social Pygmy tarantulas happily live with their young. Not only do the mothers allow the slings  to live at with them, they also let their young feed from captured prey held in their chelicerae(jaw muscles).
